Audison B-CON

Audison’s new product is the ideal choice for streaming audio from a Hi-Res player (Fiio, Sony Walkman …) and the latest generation of Android / Apple mobile devices. Audison B-CON is the only Bluetooth 5.0 car player certified “Hi-Res audio wireless” by JAS (Japanese Audio Society).

Supports Bluetooth A2DP 1.3, AVRCP 1.6 profiles and Ldac, AAC, SBC codecs. Audison B-CON is compatible with all audio formats and provides maximum quality with uncompressed BT streaming (maximum 96 kHz / 24 bit, only with Android LDAC devices), both when playing local files and with applications that provide high-resolution streaming (Tidal, Qobuz).

Digital output (max. 96 kHz / 24-bit) and analog output (max. 2 VRMS, signal-to-noise ratio 100 dB, nonlinear distortion 0.003%) allow the user to connect the B-CON to any audio device. In addition, Audison B-CON features a “pass-through” digital optical input (max 192 kHz / 24-bit) that automatically turns on when there is no BT streaming. In the event of a voice call, B-CON switches to the phone and returns to playback when the call ends.

Particular attention is paid to volume control. When working in conjunction with the AUDISON DSP, the “absolute volume” function controls the main volume of the DSP, avoiding loss of resolution and ensuring full dynamic range.

Power is supplied from the car’s onboard mains with 6-24 V, switching on the Remote IN signal 3-12 V. For stand-alone operation, a 5V 0.5A source is used. Dimensions of the device are 90 x 60,4 x 23 mm.
